Out of all of Donald Trump’s children, Donald Jr. has been the one who has remained closest to his father throughout his presidency.
At 46 years old, Donald Trump has gained influence in politics and wealth by promoting the Make America Great Again movement that his father began. He owns various businesses catering to conservatives, including a publishing company and a lucrative podcasting deal. Forbes approximates Trump’s net worth to be $50 million, mainly accumulated following his father’s political success after January 6, 2021.
Because of this, his colleagues mention that he does not intend to become part of the administration. However, he is also aware of the challenges faced by his siblings and some officials in the first term who tried to control access to his father, which ultimately proved to be politically risky.
Recently, as the president-elect works on forming his administration, his son has taken on the role of evaluating loyalty. While the president-elect prioritizes appearance and messaging abilities when considering candidates at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, his son is more concerned with determining if they are genuine in their beliefs and if they pose a threat to the ideology of MAGA.
