Out of all of Donald Trump’s children, Donald Jr. has been the one who has stayed by his father’s side the most. He is the oldest son of the president-elect.
At 46 years old, Donald Trump has gained both political influence and wealth by promoting the Make America Great Again movement that his father originally began. He owns several businesses that cater to conservative audiences, such as a publishing company and a lucrative podcasting contract. According to Forbes, Trump’s estimated net worth, which largely grew after his father’s political career following January 6, 2021, is approximately $50 million.
Because of this, his colleagues suggest that he does not intend to become a part of the administration. However, he is aware of the challenges faced by his siblings and other officials in the first term who tried to control access to his father, which proved to be risky in terms of political consequences.
Lately, as the incoming president puts together his team, his son has been acting as a judge of loyalty. While assessing potential candidates at Mar-a-Lago, the president-elect prioritizes appearance and communication skills, according to those close to them. On the other hand, his son is more concerned with the sincerity of their words and whether they pose a challenge to the MAGA agenda.
