Out of all of Donald Trump’s children, Donald Jr. has been the one who has remained closest to his father throughout his presidency.
Mr. Trump, who is 46 years old, has gained influence in politics and accumulated wealth by promoting the Make America Great Again movement that his father began. He owns several businesses that cater to conservative audiences, including a publishing company and a lucrative podcasting deal. Forbes has estimated Mr. Trump’s net worth to be approximately $50 million, with much of his wealth being acquired following his father’s political career after January 6, 2021.
Because of this, his colleagues mention that he has no intention of joining the current government. However, he is aware of the challenges faced by his siblings and some officials in their first term who tried to control access to his father, which proved to be a risky political endeavor.
Recently, as the president-elect selects members for his administration, his son has been acting as a kind of loyalty detector. While the president-elect evaluates candidates based on their appearance and ability to communicate a message, his son is more interested in whether they truly believe in what they are saying and if they could pose a threat to the current administration’s values.
