He owns various businesses targeted towards conservatives, such as a publishing company and a lucrative podcasting deal. Forbes has estimated that Mr. Trump’s net worth is approximately $50 million, mostly accumulated after his father’s political career following January 6, 2021.
Because of this, his colleagues say that he does not intend to become a part of the administration. However, he is aware of the challenges faced by his siblings and some officials in the first term, who tried to control access to his father and faced political risks as a result.
Recently, as the incoming president puts together his team, his son has been acting as a person who checks for loyalty. While the president-elect is focused on appearances and communication skills of candidates at Mar-a-Lago, his son is more interested in determining if they truly believe in what they are saying and if they pose a threat to the current political order.
