According to unnamed sources, the conversation between the two men mainly consisted of friendly exchanges, with Zuckerberg congratulating Trump on his presidential victory. The sources requested anonymity as they were not allowed to talk about the meeting.
Following a meeting in the early afternoon, Mr. Trump and Mr. Zuckerberg arranged to have dinner together at Mr. Trump’s hotel later that evening, according to sources.
A spokesperson for Meta expressed that it is a crucial moment for the advancement of American innovation. They mentioned that Mark Zuckerberg was thankful for the chance to have dinner with President Trump and discuss the upcoming administration with his team members.
