President Biden has granted his son Hunter Biden a complete and unconditional pardon. This decision was made just a few weeks before President Biden’s term ends and President-elect Donald J. Trump takes over. Trump has been criticizing Hunter Biden for his legal and personal problems for years.

On Sunday night, President Biden decided to pardon his son Hunter, despite previously stating that he would not do so. This decision allowed Hunter to avoid facing consequences for his past legal issues, such as illegally purchasing a gun and committing tax evasion.

The White House released a statement from President Biden announcing his decision to grant clemency to his son for any offenses he may have committed between January 1, 2014, and December 1, 2024.

He stated that he chose to make the decision because he believed the accusations against Hunter were driven by political motives and intended to harm him politically.

Mr. Biden claimed that the charges against his son Hunter were brought forth by his political rivals in Congress in an attempt to harm his reputation and hinder his chances of winning the election. He believes that anyone who examines the facts of Hunter’s cases would see that he was targeted solely because he is his son, which he believes is unjust.

He stated that there has been a deliberate attempt to undermine Hunter, who has remained sober for five and a half years despite facing constant attacks and unfair prosecution. By targeting Hunter, they are also targeting him, and he believes this pattern of behavior will continue unless action is taken. He expressed frustration and called for an end to the mistreatment.

A man who had always emphasized the importance of not interfering with the justice system saw a significant change in his beliefs in 2020 and 2024. He believed that former President Donald J. Trump should be removed from office to uphold the independence of America’s democracy.
